The following information is presented in greater detail in the Faculty - Dissertation Chair Training.

All document exchanges between the Chair, the Committee Member, and the student should occur within the dissertation course. In the most recently launched dissertation courses, there are designated Assignments for each document in the dissertation courses. You should use those Assignments to exchange drafts and revisions if they are available. In older dissertation courses, the student and the committee exchange drafts and feedback in the weekly discussion forums. The student must document communication with the committee outside the dissertation course in the weekly discussion forums.
