Students can make comments in the gradebook known as "submission comments". These are comments made by students in reply to a faculty member's summarized feedback, either in Canvas or Waypoint. When a submission comment is made, an email is sent to the faculty member's email address (but not the Canvas Inbox) as a notification.
To view submission comments:
- Go to your Canvas Inbox (1).
- In the top middle drop-down column, choose "submission comments" (2).
- You can then see the submission comments in your Inbox.
NOTE: You can reply to submission comments directly from the Inbox or from your faculty email address.
