Q. What are the required annual compliance training courses?

All U of A faculty and staff must complete 3 assigned compliance recertification courses each academic year in EDGE Learning. Please review the following instructions for how to fulfill these compliance requirements.

• A FERPA training must be completed once within each new academic year (July 1 – June 30). Please review the dates of the module in question prior to starting the training, as there may be trainings listed from multiple annual years. The correct module will have the current academic year identified in the title.
• The U of A assigns the Title IX and Information Security Awareness Certification courses to you according to when you last completed them. Please check your EDGE Learning My Plan for your personal due dates and mark your calendar. The U of A also will notify you via your U of A email when each recertification is due. • UAGC Associate Faculty must be in an active teaching contract to complete assigned courses. Please work with your Program Chair if you have questions about your teaching schedule in conjunction with assigned compliance courses.
• When it is time for a compliance recertification - and when you are in an active teaching contract - please copy and paste the link below into your browser, and you will be taken to the training/certification. From there, you can enroll and complete the required courses. Complete these items before the end of your contract to ensure your compliance with state and federal regulations.

3. Information Security Awareness Certification
   • To complete this recertification in EDGE:
     1. Navigate to EDGE Learning at https://arizona.sabacloud.com
     2. Select My Plan on the home page.
     3. Click on the Information Security Awareness Certification
     4. Complete the associated/required course(s).
