To help ensure that all UAGC students are leveraging live tutoring in a manner that best supports their learning and promotes self-efficacy, SupportU is instituting a live tutoring cap of eight hours per week, per student.
SupportU defined this cap according to institutional data that shows that nearly 98 percent of UAGC students who use live tutoring use fewer than eight hours per week. However, the institution acknowledges the diversity in student learning needs and circumstances. Accordingly, instructors may still use the SupportU Requests Form to request up to two additional hours (beyond the cap of eight) for students in need.
