Winter Break course calendar

Course Impacts

For students, Winter Break is Dec. 23, 2025 through Jan. 5, 2026. Classes resume on Tuesday, Jan. 6. Impacts on courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Participation: Students are not required to participate in academic activities to meet attendance requirements or complete assignments in their online classroom during this two-week break. Any assignments posted during the winter break will not update student attendance.
  • Late Policy: The winter break effectively pauses active courses. For assignments due on December 22, the three-day late period begins on January 6. Please note: This is not applicable to final assignments.
  • Final Grades: Final grades for courses that end December 22 are due December 28.
  • Incomplete Grades: The winter break does not impact the deadline for an Incomplete. Unless an extension has been approved, the Incomplete Grade period is a total of 30 days. If you have scenarios where this is a concern, please contact FacultyHelp@uagc.edu.
  • Prep week for January 6 courses: Prep week will begin on December 30, 2025 for courses that begin on 1/6/2026.
