To run a group of assignments through Turnitin all at once, you can use the "Request Originality" batch paper upload tool. This tool is located in Waypoint on the "Home" screen on the upper right side of each assignment section and says "Request Originality".
- Wait until the assignment due date has passed to ensure most students have submitted it.
- Enter Waypoint and select the assignment section you want to grade.
- Click the "Request Originality" button.
- The batch of Turnitin reports will run. Your wait time for completion will depend on the volume of student submissions and the amount of traffic on the Turnitin Website. You will receive an email when all TII reports are available.
- Please note: if any students submit their assignments after you have used the “Request Originality” batch tool, you must run Turnitin reports for them individually. Clicking the “Request Originality” button more than once will re-submit papers to the same repository, thereby resulting in false content matches.
