Students can opt-in to text messaging and email communications for course-related activities through the online classroom. Students can take advantage of this powerful engagement tool by opting in to receive text and/or email messages for a variety of scenarios, such as:
- Assignment reminders – Notifies the student when an assignment is due in 24 hours.
- Grades – Informs the student when an assignment has been graded.
- Discussion activity – Updates the student when a new topic is created, another student replies to their post, and new activity occurs.
- Announcements – Notifies the student when a new announcement is posted in the course.
