Per the Faculty Contract, all instructors must participate in at least one professional development (PD) activity per each course taught. 

  • The Faculty Affairs Professional Development Page includes a calendar of events and links to available professional development opportunities provided y UAGC, like the TLC Channel, videos, and recorded webinars.
  • Anything mentioned on the Faculty Affairs Professional Development Page satisfies your contractually required professional development activity. 
    • UAGC TLC is an Annual Teaching and Learning Conference hosted each year by the Faculty Affairs Department. This online conference features guest speakers, discovery sessions, and opportunities to meet other faculty.
  • To report your participation in professional development opportunities, please complete the survey emailed to your faculty email account during week four of your current course.​
  • You can also add any additional professional development you would like to document by accessing the Professional Development Opportunities (PDO) tab in the Faculty Portal.
  • To submit a professional development activity for a course that has already ended, please email FacultyHelp@uagc.edu and ask for the Professional Development Survey to be resent to you. Be sure to include the start date of your course.
  • If you need to view a history of your PD, log into the Faculty Portal and click on the PDO tab.
